Juan Gil has always loved working with his hands. The Houston native has been in the landscaping industry for over 10 years and has worked for some of the largest companies in the greater Houston, Texas, area. With his experience he gained from the years running crews, he decided to venture on his own and officially started GB Residential Service in 2010. With one mower, one weed eater, a blower, and a trailer, Juan has grown his company to a 3 man crew serving over 70 residential homeowners and several commercial properties.
Gil and his crew service all of the Houston area but also mow lawns in Baytown, Texas, Pasadena, Galena Park, Channelview, cloverleaf, Golden Acres, Morgans Point, La Porte, South Houston, and even cut grass in Pearland, Texas.
Juan has credited his customer service and his work as the two main reasons his business has grown so much. "I will make sure to walk the property with every homeowner to ensure I get the info I need to exceed their expectations," Gil explains. "We also take our time with every property and when we are done, we also try to walk the property with them again to see if they want anything done different or need any additional work. Keeping a clear line of communication with ever customer is key to keeping customers happy and making sure they recommend you to their neighbors, family, and friends."
GB Residential is not only your lawn maintenance company but can also mulch, shrub and bush trimming, leaf removal, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, low level tree trimming, pine needles, and aeration.
Juan says that being able to make properties look better, is what drew him to this industry and the people are what has kept him in it. "We are able to add value to our customer's home and that is what motivates us to do the best job we can," Juan boasts. "We love seeing the reaction on our customers' faces when we exceed their expectations. It will never get old and me and my crew get to see it every day."
When Juan is not running around Harris County, he loves spending time with his family. "We try to get everyone together on Sunday and eat together and just relax because we know the upcoming week is always going to be busy," Gil says. "My family motivates me to do my best at everything I do."
