If this was like Amazon, when they ask how your delivery was, I'd check all the boxes. On time, prompt, courteous, very attentive to the property. My yard isn't much to look at, due to other stuff, but then this dude came and beat my yard into submission. All this crazy weather we've gotten for spring turned my yard into the jungle from Predator. You know the good with Arnie. Dude came out with his tools and went to town like Bill Duke did. Smoked that stuff until all I saw was a little bit of green. Of the services I've seen other people have, to other serviess I've had, this is by far the best. Such a quick turn around.

In July 2017 I was living in Dallas, TX inspecting foreclosed homes through out southwest part of the country. 100% Traveling every week, I enjoyed the work but my passion was somewhere else. One day it hit me. “I need to follow my passion, my dream.” So I decided that in 2018 I would quit my job, move back to KC, and start my own lawn service. Little did I know, that in Nov. 2017 I was laid off and my plans were moved up by about 6 months. So instead of wallowing in pity. I packed up moved back to KC, and put my plan in motion. The only investment I had was passion, desire and a Lowe’s credit card. So I bought a self propelled lawn mower and started to work. Obviously family was a good start and then a friends parent needing help, and then other friends knew what is was dong and referrals started to happen. However, a few lawns is not going to pay the bills let alone grow a sustainable business. Struggling to make ends meet would lead most to put it off or just quit and get another job. But what I see for the future and how I want to run my business has kept my desire and belief strong. I’m in my second season with the same mower and needing more customers to grow. This is a brief description of my story so far, and more details are better left to share in person with you. Part of my philosophy of growing my company is simple. ‘Make your lawn look great each visit, you never know who’s watching.
Being outdoors, experiencing successful results after each mow and the joy of seeing how I made a lawn look great. Also unexpected days off due to rain. Ha!
In a sense, I care more about what your neighbors think so that you have bragging rights. My goal for each lawn: I want you to win “yard of the month” like many neighborhoods have.
This is my 3rd season. I am inspired by teaching high school students about running a business, entrepreneurial spirit, and taking personal responsibility for your actions.
I cover pretty much the whole metro but I do need to sure it makes logistical sense so that I can be of greater service.
