I was notified that they were arriving soon via text, I said that was great and asked him to make sure to get the little strip of grass in the alley that is beyond the backyard gate, which i left open for easy access. He showed up and started right away, he finished the front and it looks fine(the picture displayed on Greenpal), but when he got to the back he said it was going to cost more ($30 over the original $27 bid I accepted) due to the backyard being much longer. And I get that, it was bad. So I accepted the extra charge, if that was what it was going to take to make it look nice. The backyard does not look nice, it was half-assed, mostly a choppy weed-wacking job, as if he was annoyed that he was getting paid more that double for the one job. And he did not mow/wack the strip in the alley. I have pictures, but they don't do it justice and I have an old phone so getting them to the computer to upload is not worth the time. Needless to say, I won't be using these guys again. And probably won't use Greenpal either, as I set the appointment for Friday the 14th with a range of 1 day, and no one came until Tuesday the 18th. Not to mention, when no one came after the first couple days, I inquired about the lack of service and was told that the bid I selected had equipment problems and that my house was given to the company that I did not bid on. So, in conclusion, I ended up paying double the bid to people who's bid I did not accept and they did a poor job.
